Job Description
Responsible for effectively and efficiently performing all related activities for the sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring of internal and external candidates. In partnership with the Senior Recruiter and hiring managers, sources, selects, interviews, recommends and processes the placement of candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions. This position reports to the Human Capital Director as an integral member of the Human Resources team.ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to support hiring initiativesDetermine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualificationsManage full cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and follow-up with both candidates and hiring managers by phone and emailPipeline activities for hard to fill roles or for roles that the company is regularly searching forAct as a primary point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection processAssess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudesPost openings in various job boards, with professional organizations, and social media sitesUse independent judgment and interviewing skills foundation to select and place contract candidates on contract assignmentsTreat candidates in a professional manner and ensure that all business is conducted while demonstrating integrity and fairnessAssist with tracking candidates throughout the entire hiring process using our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperworkAdministratively prepare for and facilitate new hire onboarding sessionsFile storage and organization of employee filesProcess due diligence tasks for selected candidates, including completing reference checks as needed and verifying security eligibilityMaintain our pipeline of candidates for future rolesMulti-task effectively while working quickly and accuratelyTrack goals, metrics, and performance during the hiring process, regularly communicating status with HR team and hiring managersParticipate in job fairs as neededMaintain high ethical standards and confidentialityConsistently serve as a positive ambassador for the company's culture in all interactionsAll other duties as assigned by Human Capital Director and Leadership TeamQualificationsSelf-Motivated and Self-Monitoring, Exceptional Oral and Written Communications, Detail Oriented.
U.S. citizenship is required.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field from an accredited institution is required. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferredOne (1) year of related federal government contracting recruiting experience is strongly desiredAn understanding of EEOC recruiting requirements and guidelines for government contractors is strongly desiredExperience with the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System strongly desiredStrong technical skills and experience with social media recruiting are preferredProven experience as a recruiter with Boolean string expertiseStrong understanding of Boolean logic other sourcing methodologiesProficiency in utilizing sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Clearancejobs, cleared jobs and ATS systemsExperience recruiting for SCA and CBA positions is strongly desiredWork Location:Hybrid work situation (2 in-office days per week).
