• Build reliable and effective database tables and structures.
• Write optimized SQL queries and maintain legacy systems.
• Write functions & stored procedures in Database
• Maintain data quality and security.
• Strong analytical orientation
• Identify, isolate, and fix database issues and malfunctions.
• Coordinate with developers to improve applications and introduce best practices.
• Analyse and recommend new database products, services, and protocols.
• Ensure database systems run efficiently.
• Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems
• Good team player who is enthusiastic about delivering results
• Able to mentor juniors and train end users
• Self-starter with a positive attitude with the ability to collaborate with managers and developers.

Primary Skills
• Proficiency in MySQL database design & development.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, triggers.
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, using performance monitor,
• SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Expertise in different format data importing tools, methods and script
• Good to have skills - PostgreSQL

Secondary Skills
• Advanced debugging/testing/optimization
• Basic knowledge of Linux & Server Administration
• Knowledge of MVC and OOPS concepts
• Working with a version control system such as Git
