Job Description
Position: MYP Individuals & Societies (I&S;) Teacher
Location: One World International School (OWIS), Sarjapur
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging MYP Individuals & Societies lessons aligned with the IB framework.
- Foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills among students.
- Assess, monitor, and report student progress in accordance with IB MYP assessment practices.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student development.
- Integrate global perspectives, current affairs, and interdisciplinary connections into teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and school initiatives.
- Participate in parent meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History or Political Science.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in the IB MYP, Cambridge, or an international school setting.
- Robust communication, classroom management, and technology integration skills.
- IB MYP training/certification will be an added advantage.
