Multimedia Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design concepts and produce in-app visual assets: icons, illustrations, animations, sprites, splash screens, and marketing graphics.
Create, edit and or provide feedback of motion graphics and UI animations (Lottie, After Effects) for interactive app elements.
Produce, edit, optimize or provide effective feedback of audio assets: sound effects, UI feedback sounds, voiceovers, and short music loops.
Implement multimedia assets in collaboration with developers; provide optimized formats, specs, and documentation.
Ensure assets meet performance, memory, and platform constraints (file size, frame rates, compression).
Explore and create visual style, brand guidelines, and accessibility (color contrast, motion reduction etc).
Iterate on assets based on user testing, analytics, and QA feedback.
Maintain organized asset libraries, versioning, and naming conventions.
Support app store creative (screenshots, promo videos) and marketing content when needed.
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience creating multimedia for mobile apps, games, interactive products or equivalent experience.
Bachelor Degree or above in Multimedia Design, Animation, Game Design, Sound Design, Computer Graphics, or related field.
Strong portfolio showing creative concept visual exploration, evidence of strong 2D and 3D skills, or motion design, and audio work for apps
Must have strong evidence of design and drawing fundamentals
Stylistically Versatile
Able to quickly iterate on ideas visually, give and take feedback/directions well
Familiarity with mobile development workflows and asset integration (iOS/Android, Unity, React Native, or native SDKs).
Understanding of performance optimization (image compression, texture atlases, audio codecs).
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficient with design/motion tools: Sketch up /Adobe XD, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Zbrush, Blender or equivalent digital programs.
Fluent in 2D editing/illustration packages such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, etc.
Fluent in 3D modeling and animation packages such as 3ds Max, Blender, Zbrush etc
BONUS: experience with Lottie (Bodymovin) or equivalent for vector animations.
BONUS: Audio tools experience: Audition, Reaper, Pro Tools, or similar; basic sound design skills.
Preferred
Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other engines for interactive multimedia.
Experience with AR/VR or advanced interactive media.
BONUS: Basic scripting (JavaScript, C#, or platform-specific) to prototype or automate asset pipelines.
