Multimedia Designer (Graphic Design & Video Production)
Contract Position (Hourly)
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Contract Multimedia Designer to support our Creative Services team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in graphic design who is also experienced in professional video production and editing.
The successful candidate will create a wide range of digital and print marketing materials while also supporting photography, videography, motion graphics, and post-production projects. We are looking for someone who can work independently, interpret creative briefs with minimal direction, and consistently produce polished, professional work that aligns with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design brochures, reports, advertisements, presentations, signage, social media graphics, and other marketing materials
Create digital assets for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms
Maintain brand consistency across multiple projects and business divisions
Prepare artwork for both print and digital production
Edit promotional videos, interviews, social media content, and corporate communications
Create motion graphics, animated titles, and branded visual elements
Perform professional green screen keying and compositing
Apply colour correction, basic colour grading, and audio editing
Assist with photography and videography during on-location productions
Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear
Organize project files, media assets, and editing workflows
Manage multiple creative projects while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
Professional experience in graphic design and video editing
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
Experience creating motion graphics and animated content
Experience with green screen keying and compositing
Knowledge of photography, videography, lighting, and audio production
Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for on-location productions
