Moon Technolabs - Unreal Game Developer

Description

Role : UnReal Game Developer.

Exp : 3 to 4 years.

Location : Ahmedabad.

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and optimize gameplay systems using Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and cross-functional teams to translate game design concepts into high-quality interactive features.
• Build and optimize Blueprints and C++ gameplay logic for performance, stability, and scalability.
• Work on rendering, physics, AI, UI, animations, and other core systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix performance bottlenecks, crashes, and memory issues across platforms.
• Integrate third-party plugins, SDKs, backend services, and tools within Unreal Engine.
• Support basic development tasks in Unity when required (e.g., simple gameplay logic, UI, prefabs, or minor feature extensions).
• Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to internal documentation.

Programming Languages
• C++ (Strong proficiency).
• Blueprint Scripting (UE4/UE5).
• C# (Basic to intermediate knowledge for Unity).
• Optional : Python (for tools or automation).

Frameworks And Tools
• Unreal Engine 4 & Unreal Engine 5.
• Unity (Basic to intermediate familiarity).
• Version control systems (Git, Perforce).
• Visual Studio / Rider.
• Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG).
• Profiling tools (Unreal Insights, RenderDoc, PIX).

Operating Systems
• Windows.
• Linux (optional for dedicated servers).

Databases

Not mandatory; optionally familiar with :
• SQLite (for save systems).
• PlayFab/Firebase (for backend integration).

Cloud Services
• Epic Online Services (EOS).
• PlayFab or Steamworks (optional).

Experience
• Minimum Years of Experience : 3 - 4 years of professional Unreal Engine development.
• Relevant Industry Experience : 3 - 4 years.
• Game development, simulation, VR/AR, real-time rendering, or 3D interactive applications.
• Exposure to Unity development environments is a plus.
