Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Montessori Infant/ Toddler Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a strong foundation in early childhood education. This role works with the Infant/ Toddler age, 12 months through 3 years old. The Assistant will support classroom activities, foster a positive learning environment, and help support students. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children. Wage enhancement (WE) available to qualifying candidates.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities in the classroom as per the Guides instructions and within the Montessori Pedagogy.
Communicate effectively with students to promote understanding and engagement.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with Guides and other staff members to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to Guides regarding individual needs.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
Familiarity with early childhood education principles is required.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
An understanding of Montessori Pedagogy an asset.

First aid/CPR Child Care level or willing to obtain
