Monitoring the sites quantities as per BOQ provided with rational reference to the CAD DWGs

Billing Engineer is responsible for the preparation and verification of bills alligning with the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), project layouts and site execution for the MEP projects. He/She will ensure that all project costs are accounted for, prepare detailed billing reports, and work closely with project managers & procurement team.

Responsibilities
• Monitoring the sites quantities as per BOQ provided with rational reference to the CAD DWGs
• On site measurements
• Preparing measurements and variation statements
• Verification of measurements from Engineer in charge.
• Preparing of running bills
• Invoicing
• Rate analysis of non-tendered items.
• Clearing Audits of site with reference to billing

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing for MEP works in commercial fit out projects.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Fit out processes.
• Proficiency in billing software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of contracts, BOQs, and project management.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Competencies
• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
