JOB PURPOSE
The Plumber is responsible for performing plumbing work at the journeyman level.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as a plumber.
Must have or be willing to acquire Backflow Prevention Certification.
Must have two years of experience.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plumber is responsible for:
Installing, modifying, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems
Installing, modifying, repairing and maintaining the plumbing components of a heating, ventilation and air control system
Installing, maintaining and testing back flow preventative equipment
Keeping and maintaining records and documentation
Ordering, storing and maintaining inventory
