Job Title: Modern Trade Manager
Experience: 5+ years

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Modern Trade Manager to drive sales and achieve revenue targets in the modern trade channel by managing relationships with key accounts (supermarkets, hypermarkets, chains, etc.), ensuring product visibility, executing in-store activities, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow sales through modern trade channels (e.g., Big Bazaar, Reliance Retail, Walmart, D-Mart, etc.)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account managers and category buyers.
Plan and execute promotions, visibility drives, and merchandising strategies in stores.
Negotiate for better shelf space, displays, and promotions.
Monitor stock levels, order replenishments, and manage returns.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) for smooth operations.
Track competitor activities and market trends and provide actionable insights.
Analyse sales data and prepare regular reports on performance vs. targets.
Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve customer complaints/issues.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Analytical skills to interpret sales data and trends.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
· Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and analytical mindset.
