ModellingData Science Role Investment Bank

We have roles across our clients who are leading investment bank and rapidly growing their Model development and Model Validation teams in India.

These roles are from Analyst to Director levels.

Due to regulatory focus in these areas and the team's broader model risk scope also guarantees a significant level of interest and visibility to the business and senior management.

The models that are used are complex in nature and covers across product lines in market risk, credit risk, operational risk, treasury, valuation and also in financial crime.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Will Include
• Review, verify and validate or develop market, credit, and operational risk models as well as financial crime models using statistical and data science techniques.
• Lead and manage specialized quantitative professionals, especially for Senior Leaders who are keen to build and manage a team.
• Global stakeholder management and ensure high quality support to functional risk managers at group level.
• Engaging with global stakeholder at group level by investigating, governing, and performing detailed validation of models.

To Be Eligible For This Role You Will Require
• 2 to 15 + years of experience working in model development or validation team of investment bank.
• Good understanding of complex investment banking products / risks/ financial crime data analysis/ compliance data.
• Exposure to and experience in financial markets, products, and businesses.
• Masters or Doctorate degree in a technical or quantitative finance-related area such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Quantitative Finance etc.
