Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 R2 & 2012.
• Provide L2 support for different versions of Microsoft SQL Servers with 3-6 years of experience.
Core Skills:
• Database Builds and Maintenance
• Installation of Database Software
• Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Database Startup/Shutdown, DBCC Checks, and Re-org Activities
• Altering Database/T-log Files, Analyzing Blocking and Session Wait Events
• Performing Database Backups, Restores, Migrations, Refreshes, and Upgrades
• Knowledge Management, Compliance Reporting, and DR Drill Support
• Proficiency in SQL Native Tools, SQL Lite Speed, and Additional Technologies like Oracle, MAX DB, SAP HANA, and Oracle Exadata
Requirements:
• 4 to 10 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration
• Ability to execute activities independently
• Customer management skills
