Role Name – Merchant Banking Manager (Hybrid)
Educational Qualification –MBA or CS or any other professional degree preferred
Experience – 1-2 yrs preferred
Pay Range – 6-7 lac pa
Role Description
§ The individual will be part of the Merchant Banking Team
§ Conducting Due Diligence.
§ Drafting of Offer Documents
§ Liaison with clients, legal counsels, registrar, share transfer agents, auditors and other intermediaries
§ Liaison with BSE, NSE, SEBI, NSDL, CDSL and other authority as per requirement.
§ Manage proper documentation as required by the Merchant banker
§ Advising clients on good corporate governance practices and compliances to various applicable Acts and guidelines.
§ Framing Policies as required under the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI (LODR) Regulations
§ Identify leads for Origination and follow up, work towards converting those leads into further meetings
§ The individual must have self-driven attitude and eventually be ready for client facing role.
§ Originate business through identification of MB opportunities, direct follow up with corporate or build relationship with intermediaries (CA, CS, Consultants, Lawyers, etc).
§ Preparation of Presentation and MIS
§ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Desired Candidate Profile
MBA or CS or any other professional degree preferred with relevant Merchant Banking experience of 1-2 years
· Expertise knowledge of various merchant banking services like IPO, Open Offers, Buyback, Delisting, Right Issue, Valuations, Private Placement documentation etc.
· Well versed with Companies Act, guidelines/regulations of SEBI, Income Tax, Companies Act, FEMA, etc.
· Ability to work in teams
· Willing to travel to client location for due diligence
· Well-presented & excellent oral and written communication skills.
