Job Description

About us
Norco is Australia’s oldest and largest dairy co-operative, with 131 years of hands-on experience in Australian dairy and agriculture. Proudly 100% Australian farmer-owned, we’re built from the ground up by the people who work the land. With two key arms, DairyFoods and AgriSolutions, we’re here to back our communities and customers every step of the way, staying true to our roots and committed to growing together.
Norco AgriSolutions has been serving customers since 1948, with 26 stores across NSW and QLD, Animal Nutrition mills, and an in-house commodity trading team. We provide customers with competitive, convenient and trusted business solutions that add value to their businesses. Whether customers are growing, breeding, or seeking general or more specialised technical advice, our in-store and field teams are there to help with their subject matter knowledge and expertise.
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity available in our Coffs Harbour retail store for an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated team member to join us on a permanent part-time basis (24 hours per week). This is a hands-on, customer-facing retail role where no two days are the same, combining sales, merchandising, customer service and warehouse duties.

You’ll work closely with local farmers and a wide range of community customers, helping them find the right products and practical solutions for their needs, while working across both the retail store and warehouse. Our Coffs Harbour site includes a drive-through, where customers can pull in with vehicles and trailers to be served directly. You’ll play a key role in this space, helping customers quickly and safely with product selection, loading, and advice.

You’ll be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team who take pride in helping their customers and each other.

Your day-to-day activities will include:
Providing sales and customer service, including agricultural advice and product recommendations
Building strong relationships with customers and supporting repeat business
Working across both the retail store floor and warehouse environment
Assisting customers in the drive-through warehouse, including loading products into vehicles and trailers
Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays
Assisting with stock, including ordering, receipting, stocktakes and dispatch
Processing sales and preparing quotes
Assisting with local deliveries as required
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing great service, and has a genuine interest in agriculture or rural products. You’re organised, reliable, and comfortable balancing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You’re also comfortable working in both a retail and warehouse setting and enjoy hands-on work, including assisting customers with loading products.

Skills and experience
Strong customer service and sales experience
Experience in rural retail or warehousing (highly desirable)
An understanding of the agricultural industry (highly desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
Physically capable of handling manual tasks
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Current driver’s licence (essential)
Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one
Why join Norco?
Be part of a local, community-focused team
Work in a hands-on and varied role with real customer connection
Access ongoing learning, development and career pathways
Enjoy staff benefits including discounts, Fitness Passport, EAP support, paid parental leave and more
Join a business that genuinely values people, safety and wellbeing
Next Steps
If you’re looking for a role where you can build strong customer relationships, work with a great local team, and be part of a business that supports Australian agriculture, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.

As part of our pre-employment process, the successful candidate will be required to complete a police check and pre-employment medical, including drug and ******* screening.

At Norco, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
