Registrar – General Medicine
General Medicine Maximum Term Full Time/Part Time

Position Profile
As the hospital continues its expansion, including a new 112-bed public ward block currently in development, we are looking to employ General Medicine Registrars to join the team on a full-time/part-time fixed-term basis to serve the General Medicine department in teams and hospital admissions.
The General Medicine department comprises eight teams that admit and manage patients daily. General medicine registrars will either be a part of a medical team or assist in admitting patients into General Medicine or its medical specialties, including Respiratory, Cardiology and Aged Care. Successful candidates will also be rostered on an after-hours roster, including night shifts, to one of the medical units while being supported by the many approachable and knowledgeable Consultants.
JHC is looking to employ Registrars with a salary range of $146,57+ – $224,214 p.a pro rata (including base salary, 11.5 % superannuation and professional development allowance). High overnight penalties are paid, and casual contracts are available to suitable candidates.
Essential Criteria
Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values.
Registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board of Australia).
A minimum of three years of clinical experience.
A willingness to work night shifts and supervise junior doctors.
Desirable Criteria
A keen interest in General Medicine and its specialties.

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
