Job Description
As a Line Leader / Supervisor in the mechanical production department, your role involves overseeing day-to-day shop floor operations with proactive and responsible management. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Allocating work and monitoring operator performance and productivity.
- Ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.
- Monitoring machine utilization, material flow, and minimizing downtime.
- Maintaining discipline, safety, and adherence to company SOPs.
- Coordinating with maintenance, quality, and planning teams for smooth operations.
- Training and guiding operators and technicians on processes and best practices.
- Maintaining production reports, attendance, and shift records.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Diploma/ITI/Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- Prior experience in mechanical/ manufacturing shop floor supervision.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality, and safety practices.
- Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
