Mechanical Parts Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and qualify suppliers specializing in precision machining for aerospace-grade components.
• Develop and maintain relationships with machining facilities to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality parts.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand part specifications and ensure supplier capabilities align with requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Implement and maintain supply chain processes to optimize cost efficiency and minimize lead times.
• Mitigate risks in the supply chain through proactive planning and relationship management.
• Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to aerospace standards and compliance requirements.
• Track industry trends and advancements in machining technologies to enhance supply chain capabilities.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet project deadlines and production schedules.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management within the aerospace domain.
• Strong understanding of precision machining processes and materials used in aerospace applications.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain supplier networks for high-quality mechanical parts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
