Mechanical Industrialization Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Industrialization Engineer for the Business Unit Electrical Safety Solutions (ESS) - SHIN who will actively support global industrialization activities, production transfers, and design adaptation across multiple production sites worldwide.
Requirements
• Perform mechanical design and industrialization tasks for ESS components and assemblies supporting multiple production sites
• Support global production transfers and cross-site industrialization projects
• Provide technical support during prototype, production ramp-up, and assembly phases at different sites
• Update and maintain mechanical drawings, BOMs, and documentation using SolidWorks, PLM systems, and Oracle ERP
• Propose and implement robust and cost-effective technical solutions considering manufacturing capabilities across sites
• Manage engineering change processes and assess impact on production, orders, and inventory globally
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams worldwide to ensure manufacturability and continuous improvement
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation in line with group standards
• Support product standardization and design optimization for multi-site manufacturing
• Support industrialization of ESS products across global production sites
• Contribute to production transfer and localization projects worldwide
• Ensure robust, cost-effective, and standardized technical solutions aligned with group engineering standards
• Strengthen collaboration between engineering, production, procurement, and quality across regions
Education
Qualification and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical systems, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
Skills
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and PDM/PLM workflows
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and cost optimization principles
• Knowledge of change management processes and configuration control
• Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001) and industrial best practices
• Ability to analyze technical issues and propose structured, pragmatic solutions
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-site and multicultural environment
• Clear and structured communication skills (technical documentation and presentations).
• Ability to manage priorities and work under time constraints
• Experience in production transfer, product localization, or multi-site industrial environments
• Practical experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality)
• Experience with engineering change management and BOM management in ERP/PLM systems
• Exposure to international collaboration and global projects is an advantage
