Job Description

This is a full time permanent position with the opportunity for overtime with penal rates.

Key Responsibilities
Service, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery and trucks
Diagnose and resolve breakdowns in the field
Travel to various sites when required
Work alternating day and night shifts as needed
Ensure all work meets Downer’s high safety and operational standards
Collaborate within a skilled team while also being able to work unsupervised
About You
Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
Strong hydraulic knowledge and diagnostic skills
Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
Auto electrical experience (highly regarded)
Valid licences to support the role (HR and Forklift desirable)
Ability to travel as required and work alternating shifts
Strong team player with the capability to operate independently
A proactive approach and commitment to safety
