Role Description The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer will work on-site in Surat in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, coordination, and review of building services projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing MEP design drawings and specifications, performing load calculations and system sizing, and assisting in the selection of equipment for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The engineer will coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural disciplines, resolve design conflicts, and support site teams during installation and commissioning.
The role also involves reviewing shop drawings, conducting technical evaluations, supporting audits for compliance with codes and standards, and preparing clear documentation and reports. Collaboration with project managers, consultants, and contractors is required to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, with experience in integrated building services design.
Candidates should possess Plumbing and Building Services knowledge, including water supply, drainage, and HVAC-related systems for commercial and residential projects.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including power distribution, lighting systems, and basic understanding of low-voltage and protection systems.
Candidates should possess MEP Coordination capabilities, ensuring alignment of MEP layouts with architectural and structural designs and resolving clashes.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
Working knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations; familiarity with local regulations in Surat or similar jurisdictions is advantageous.
Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and basic project documentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Prior experience in MEP or MEPF consulting, design, or site coordination is preferred.
