Job Title: Mechanical Design Trainee
Location: Atlas Transformers India Limited (Por, GIDC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Trainee to join our engineering team. The trainee will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems. This position is ideal for recent engineering graduates or final-year students seeking practical experience in mechanical design and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).
Support the preparation of engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Conduct basic design calculations and simulations under supervision.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project goals.
Aid in the identification and resolution of design and engineering issues.
Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
Learn and apply company design standards, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) is preferred.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
