Role & responsibilities
• Manage technical drawings for sheet metal forming & casting (ferrous & aluminum alloys).
• Develop and modify designs to improve mechanical performance of parts/systems.
• Analyze customer requirements, capacity, and cost for mechanical systems.
• Prepare specifications, feasibility studies, and define project scope.
• Design, test, and validate mechanical components for performance & quality.
• Support field/service teams with technical expertise.
• Conduct design & quality reviews.
• Design fuel dispensers (FENIX Series) aligned with business goals.
• Study tender requirements (IOCL, HPCL, Reliance) and implement improvements.
• Manage vendors for tooling (GDC, PDC, MLD, etc.).
• Track projects to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Finalize product design for mass production with documentation.
• Cost analysis using BOM/RFQ and project scheduling.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
Preferred candidate profile
• Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years in product design & development

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes & materials
• Tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP ERP, PDM, NanoCAD, MS Office
• Strong project management & problem-solving skills
• Experience in electro-mechanical system integration
