Love teaching but hate taking your work home with you?
Tired of having to deal with poor behaviour in the classroom?
Want to help children grow in confidence and develop their love of learning maths without the school politics?
We looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher to join our friendly tuition centre in Aldridge
The successful candidate will:
* Be a maths specialist with QTS
* Demonstrate a passion for teaching and desire to enthuse students
* Be confident talking to parents and uphold the professional standards of the centre
* Be comfortable teaching maths across the secondary age range at all levels. A level competency desirable but not essential.
* Be able to motivate and inspire children to learn.
* Be well organised, punctual and reliable.
We can offer you:
* The chance to tutor small groups of children in a professional, friendly, stimulating and safe environment
* Use of our proven teaching resources planning software. Full training in our systems and methods of teaching is provided.
* Minimal marking and no unnecessary paperwork!
* Initially starting with 4 hours per week and increasing over the course of the academic year.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £30/ hour rising to £38 after successful 6-month induction period.
Required experience:
Qualified teacher with QTS
Minimum of one year teaching in secondary school in the UK
Maths specialism with ability to teach confidently lower and higher ability up to year 11.
Computer literate/ confident.
Excellent subject knowledge and attention to detail
