Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in various mathematical concepts, providing tutoring support, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those in special education.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Educate students on mathematical concepts, theories, and applications in a classroom setting.
Provide individualized tutoring support to students who require additional assistance.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and classroom behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and educational trends.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics.
Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics and Science education is preferred.
Experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics and Science at the middle or high school level is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey mathematical concepts to students of varying abilities.
Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles, including special education needs.
Familiarity with laboratory settings for practical applications of mathematical theories is a plus.
A passion for educating young minds and fostering a love for mathematics.
