Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records regarding treatments provided.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions if necessary.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant certifications or licenses.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and explain treatment procedures.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to health and safety standards.
Certification or licensing as required by state or local regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed.
