Marketing Trainee
Job Description
1. Campaigns & Advertising
Plan and execute end-to-end online and offline advertising campaigns for Satchmo Holdings.
Design targeted campaigns for new product launches, seasonal promotions, and key trade events.
Develop entry-marketing strategies for new markets or product categories as the company scales.
Plan, execute, and measure A/B tests and conversion experiments to continuously improve campaign ROI.
2. Digital Marketing & Social Media
Build and maintain brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
Plan and manage paid digital campaigns — Meta Ads, Google Ads, influencer collaborations — within budget.
Track and report campaign performance against KPIs using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and similar tools.
Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling landing pages, emailers, and digital collateral.
Drive customer acquisition and engagement through SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
3. Content Creation & Brand Management
Develop brand-aligned content — product storytelling, recipes, behind-the-scenes, testimonials — for all channels.
Uphold brand identity, visual standards, and tone of voice across all media and communication touchpoints.
Manage creation and distribution of marketing assets: brochures, packaging inserts, in-store materials, and merchandise.
Coordinate product photography and videography shoots in line with brand guidelines.
4. Public Relations & Communications
Support PR initiatives — media pitches, press releases, industry events, and corporate communications.
Build and maintain relationships with food bloggers, media houses, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
Draft brand communications including press releases, newsletters, media kits, and blog articles.
5. Vendor & Agency Coordination
Coordinate with creative agencies, media vendors, print suppliers, and digital partners from brief to delivery.
Negotiate quotations, manage timelines, and ensure quality of marketing deliverables.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, and Operations teams on marketing support needs.
6. Market Research & Reporting
Monitor competitor marketing activities, emerging food trends, and consumer insights to shape campaign strategy.
Prepare monthly marketing performance reports covering reach, engagement, leads, and campaign ROI.
Support primary and secondary market research to evaluate brand health and customer perception.
Qualification & Experience
MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Brand Management, or Mass Communications from a recognised institution (mandatory).
1 years of work experience;
Prior experience in a marketing agency, FMCG brand, Real Estate or food company is a strong advantage.
Demonstrable portfolio of campaigns, content, or creative projects (links/samples welcome).
Skills
Digital marketing — Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms
Analytics tools — Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, campaign dashboards
Content creation — copywriting, visual storytelling, and brand communication
Public relations — media outreach, press releases, and influencer engagement
Vendor coordination — briefing, negotiation, and project management
MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Kannada is an advantage
Creative mindset with a results-driven, data-informed approach to marketing
KPI
Campaign ROI—Revenue / leads generated vs. marketing spend per campaign
Social Media Growth—Follower growth rate and engagement rate (monthly)
Digital Ad Performance—CTR, CPC, ROAS across Meta and Google campaigns
Content Output—Quality and frequency of brand content published per month
Lead Generation—Marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) delivered to Sales
Brand Consistency Score—Adherence to brand guidelines across all touchpoints
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
