Role Description The Marketing Officer role at VINU Food Products is a full-time position based in Salem, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some tasks to be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing marketing campaigns, lead generation , coordinating brand promotions, and supporting sales initiatives across various channels. The role involves conducting market research to understand consumer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the food industry. The Marketing Officer will manage social media marketing activities, help create marketing content, and ensure consistent brand messaging. Additional duties include collaborating with the sales team, tracking campaign performance, preparing reports, and contributing to strategies that drive brand awareness and product growth.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Market Research and Marketing to develop effective campaigns and understand consumer and competitor behavior.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and present ideas clearly.
• Candidates should possess Social Media Marketing skills to manage online brand presence and engage with target audiences.
• Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support sales initiatives, understand customer needs, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field are beneficial.
• Ability to use basic marketing and office software, analyze data, and prepare clear reports is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in teams are important.
• Experience in the food or FMCG sector, or in a similar marketing role, is an added advantage.
