Job Description – Manager, Marketing & Business Development



Company: JR Group of Industries – Foundry Division



Location: Sihor / Bhavnagar, Gujarat



Experience: 10–15+ Years



CTC: ₹8–12 Lakhs P.A. (based on experience, skills, attitude, knowledge)



Structure: 80% Fixed + 20% Performance-Linked Variable



Reporting To: GM / Head – Marketing & Business Development



Role Purpose



Drive profitable business growth by developing new customers, strengthening key accounts, generating and converting RFQs, managing customer relationships, and building a strong business pipeline for the Foundry Division.



Key Responsibilities



* Develop new OEM, Tier-1 and industrial customers.

* Generate leads, RFQs, development orders and regular production business.

* Manage the complete cycle: Lead → RFQ → Feasibility → Costing → Quotation → Negotiation → Development → Approval → Production.

* Conduct regular customer visits and maintain structured follow-ups.

* Manage assigned key accounts and identify opportunities for additional business.

* Coordinate with Engineering, NPD, Quality, Production, PPC and Finance for RFQ and development activities.

* Review technical and commercial requirements, quotations and negotiations.

* Maintain accurate CRM, sales pipeline, customer visit reports and forecasts.

* Track RFQ conversion, lost orders, development status and customer commitments.

* Support domestic and export business development.

* Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing and new business opportunities.

* Guide and mentor junior Marketing & Business Development team members.



Preferred Industry Experience

* Sand Casting / Foundry

* Heavy Engineering

* Auto Components

* Industrial Components

* General Engineering



Knowledge of CI, SG Iron, Steel/Alloy Steel Castings, No-Bake and Shell Moulding will be preferred.



Qualification



* B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production or related engineering field.

* MBA / PGDM in Marketing will be an advantage.

Compensation



Annual CTC: ₹8–12 Lakhs



* 80% Fixed Compensation

* 20% Performance-Linked Variable



Variable pay will be linked to agreed business-development, order-booking, customer-acquisition, conversion, profitability and performance KPIs.
