Role Description

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Technologist to join our fast-paced, project-driven environment. In this role, you will bridge engineering and manufacturing - ensuring parts are manufacturable, processes are optimized, and projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Review engineering drawings to ensure manufacturability across machining, fabrication, welding, and finishing
• Develop detailed manufacturing plans and process flows
• Determine whether work should be completed in-house or subcontracted
• Source and evaluate subcontractors, including obtaining and reviewing quotes
• Create technical purchase requests and support procurement activities
• Coordinate with QA to release approved drawings and ensure compliance
• Act as the key technical point of contact between vendors and internal teams
• Oversee subcontracting logistics (shipping, receiving, timelines)
• Manage non-conformances and support resolution of manufacturing issues
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to solve technical challenges

Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, machining, or welding environments
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
• Experience working in a custom, non-repetitive production environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems

Salary Range: $78,000-$83,000
