Our client is a prominent financial group. They offer a comprehensive range of financial solutions including commercial banking, private wealth management, investment and mutual funds, treasury and foreign exchange, asset financing and leasing, and project financing. The group also has significant interests in the insurance sector, providing motor, property, health, pension, and critical illness coverage.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Managing Director for our client's banking division. This is a unique opportunity to drive the strategic direction of a dynamic financial institution that is at the forefront of digital innovation in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the organization
Work closely with the Board and Executive team to establish long-term goals
Create and implement business strategies to ensure financial stability and growth
Oversee all operational activities and manage a team of senior executives
Foster a culture of innovation and excellence
Represent the organization externally, building relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community
Maintain regulatory compliance and monitor performance metrics
Drive organizational success through effective decision-making and resource allocation
Lead the integration of merchant/corporate/investment banking business with retail commercial banking operations
Spearhead the organization's digital banking strategy
Requirements
Master's degree required; ACCA or CFA qualifications are advantageous
10+ years of senior managerial experience in the banking sector
Extensive experience in retail and commercial banking
Strong understanding of digital banking trends and technologies
Proven track record in leading teams through organizational change and integration
Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills
Proficiency in office suite software
Benefits
Competitive salary range: TTD $80,000 - $120,000 (flexible/negotiable based on candidate caliber)
Performance-based bonus structure (up to 160% of annual base salary)
4 weeks of annual leave
