Managing Associate - Senior Patent Attorney

The senior patent attorney is responsible for managing the patent drafting process, ensuring high-quality, strategically sound patent applications for clients. The role demands advanced technical knowledge, expertise in patent law, and leadership skills to guide junior team members and provide insightful legal advice to clients. The attorney will work across various industries, collaborating with inventors, R&D teams, and other stakeholders to secure robust patent protection.Key Responsibilities:- Draft high-quality patent applications, including claims, specifications, and drawings, across a range of technical fields.- Review and refine patent applications to meet jurisdictional standards and client objectives.- Respond to office actions and objections from patent offices globally, crafting persuasive arguments to advance prosecution.- Advise clients on IP strategies, including patent drafting, filing jurisdictions, and portfolio management.- Conduct discussions with inventors and clients to understand technical details and commercial objectives.- Stay updated on changes in patent laws, regulations, and case precedents across jurisdictions.- Research advancements in technology relevant to client industries to improve patent quality and defensibility.Qualifications:Education:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. A degree in Law is preferred.Experience:- Experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and related IP services.- Experience in handling paralegal teams
