Job Summary
As a Manager of Software Engineering in the SPG - Fixed Income Tech team of Corporate & Investment Banking business at JP Morgan, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives
Job Responsibilities
• This is a hands-on technical role. The candidate should be comfortable working with Advanced Python, multi-threaded, complex, high- performance, techno-functional environment.
• Should be able to design minor components, work independently and collaborate with global team members as required.
• The candidate will be tasked with developing robust, scalable and maintainable applications.
• Develop technical components as per JPMC technical standards. Enhance and maintain existing components and services.
• Provide level-3 support to troubleshoot production issues and assist users with their queries
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Aptitude in application designing, development and testing for backend server development.
• Knowledge of Advanced Python, No SQL Database, Collections and multi-threaded programming skills.
• Knowledge of React will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting and Jules/Jenkins for deployment.
• Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Experience with Investment Banking - Fixed Income domain will be an advantage
• Experience with build tools ant/maven will be an advantage.
