The Opportunity

AgeCare is seeking an experienced Manager, IT Network and Telecommunications to provide technical expertise, operational support, and technological oversight for communications, network infrastructure, and site technology systems across healthcare and long-term care environments.

This role is responsible for supporting and integrating network infrastructure, telephone systems, copier services, nurse call systems, building automation systems, electronic access control systems, CCTV, and related site technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, system vendors, consultants, and implementation partners to ensure technology solutions align with operational requirements, organizational standards, cybersecurity expectations, and long-term technology objectives.

While the role includes awareness and support of network infrastructure technologies, it also requires sufficient technical knowledge to participate in needs assessments, requirements analysis, proposal reviews, rollout planning, and oversight of technology initiatives that support resident care, operational effectiveness, data separation, business continuity, and secure site operations.
