We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer, a Marsh Business. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Lead Specialist– Investment Solutions (OCIO – Client Management)
We will count on you to :
Take charge of the imminent delivery workflow coming in to Investment Consulting
Driving new business initiatives that are combination of research and delivery specs as known at the moment
Stakeholder management
Develop recommendations to hold/liquidate investment managers basis through research on manager performance, market developments and macro-economic environment
Providing support to onshore consultants on a variety of topics including client queries in regards to performance analysis, strategic asset allocation advice, economic commentaries, document drafting and PowerPoint presentations.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of asset classes and the ability to produce insightful fund commentaries to support investment analysis and reporting.
Liaising with wider operational, portfolio management and consulting teams across Mercer, including management of projects as they arise.
Liaising with our dedicated performance reporting unit in relation to the production and delivery of client investment reports within tight deadlines.
Be a SPOC for the team for assigned scope. Scale the expertise in the team anticipating the future workflow and growing sophistication of existing projects
Production of bespoke and ad-hoc investment reports.
Assisting in the implementation of changes to investment strategy arrangements as decided by our clients
Assisting in investment strategy reviews including pension asset-liability analysis and design of dynamic de-risking frameworks
Prepare a Client Audit Request response and a typical Client Valuation Request response
Prepare valuation reports basis the cash flow information for the clients investment portfolio
Contribute to other investment consulting support activities as assigned
Deliver to agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and work within the set policies and guidelines
Where appropriate, propose updates and improvements to current processes
Contribute to other group projects as assigned
Contribute and participate in knowledge development initiatives
Attend queries, concerns, suggestions from stakeholders
What you need to have:
Prior Experience: 4+ years of work experience in financial sector
Education/ Qualification: Masters in finance, preferred CFA/FRM
Adept in undertaking and articulating investment research and insights
Ability to understand and interpret large amounts of fund performance indicators
Comfortable in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Python, VBA Preferred
