Manager - Installation Operations & Vendor Development About the Role Amitoje India is looking for a hands-on Installation Operations Manager who will be responsible for executing POS display and retail installation projects across India through a network of local contractors and installation vendors. This is a desk-based coordination role. The person will own installation projects from vendor selection and commercial negotiation to execution, rectification and final closure. A key objective of the role is to build installation as a profitable business vertical for Amitoje India. Key Responsibilities Installation Project Execution - Plan and execute installation of POS displays, retail fixtures, signage and related projects across India. - Coordinate remotely with carpenters, electricians, fabricators, installers and other local contractors. - Ensure installations happen within committed timelines. - Coordinate with clients, internal project teams, vendors and people present at the installation location. - Review photographs, videos and site feedback to ensure installations meet required quality standards. - Handle site-level problems, modifications and rectifications until successful project closure. Vendor Development Installation Project Execution - Plan and execute installation of POS displays, retail fixtures, signage and related projects across India. - Coordinate remotely with carpenters, electricians, fabricators, installers and other local contractors. - Ensure installations happen within committed timelines. - Coordinate with clients, internal project teams, vendors and people present at the installation location. - Review photographs, videos and site feedback to ensure installations meet required quality standards. - Handle site-level problems, modifications and rectifications until successful project closure. - Negotiate installation, transportation, manpower and rectification costs with vendors. - Benchmark installation rates across cities and project types. - Develop standard installation costing wherever possible. - Ensure projects are commercially viable before execution. What We Are Looking For - 2-4 years of experience in installation, project execution, retail fixtures, signage, interiors, retail branding, exhibitions, store rollouts or a similar field. - Robust vendor development and negotiation skills. - Ability to manage contractors remotely across multiple cities. - Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability. - Comfortable handling several live projects simultaneously. - Commercial mindset with strong focus on cost and profitability. - Ability to deal practically with carpenters, electricians, fabricators, installers, transporters and site teams. - Good communication skills in Hindi and English. - Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets, photographs and video calls for remote project management.
