Assistant Manager New Delhi (India)

Role & responsibilities Support the research activities of the company , which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan . The activities include, but not limited to, the followings: Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry , and energy & environment in India as well as other regions globally . Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and chance/threat for organisation through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and compet itor benchmarking. Work out the measures to capture prospects and reduce threats. Supervise junior researcher in the team in India . Preferred candidate profile Masters degree in economics/ commerce/ business from a reputed college or university . 7+ years of related work experience preferably with a market research/ c onsulting/ credit rating firm or strategy/ corporate office of multinational company . Ability to handle research & consultancy assignments independently including writing research proposal, conducting research (secondary, primary), report writing, communication . Open to travel both domestic and foreign. Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ability to use AI for research works . Team management and valuable interpersonal skills for team building, stakeholder management .
