Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Import Manager to manage end-to-end import operations and international logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, freight forwarders, and Customs House Agents (CHA) to ensure cost-effective shipping.
• Oversee the movement of goods from overseas suppliers, including transport management and shipment tracking.
• Prepare and review all necessary import and shipping documentation.
• Ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with import/export regulations.
• Maintain records for accounting purposes as per company procedures, including checking and verification of invoices.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely delivery of shipments.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in supply chain management, international logistics, or customs clearance is essential.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations, tariffs, and HS codes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and documentation processes efficiently.
Pay: ₹23,553.16 - ₹59,351.01 per month
Work Location: In person
