Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Hotel Sales to drive revenue growth across Rooms, Banquets, MICE, Corporate, and Social Events segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, maximizing occupancy and banquet revenues, and contributing to the overall commercial success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Rooms Sales & Revenue Generation

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve room revenue and occupancy targets.

· Drive business from Corporate, Travel Agents, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Tour Operators, and Leisure segments.

· Identify and acquire new business opportunities through corporate tie-ups and strategic partnerships.

· Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and travel partners.Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, occupancy levels, ARR, ADR, and RevPAR to optimize revenue performance.

· Coordinate with the Revenue Management team to maximize room inventory utilization and profitability.

Banquet & MICE Sales

· Generate revenue through Banquets, Conferences, Weddings, Social Events, and MICE business.

· Develop and maintain relationships with event planners, wedding planners, corporates, and institutional clients.

· Handle inquiries, negotiations, proposals, contracts, and event confirmations.

· Ensure achievement of banquet revenue targets through proactive sales efforts.

· Collaborate with Operations and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution and superior guest experience.

· Conduct site visits, client meetings, and hotel presentations to promote banquet facilities.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management

· Identify new market opportunities and expand the hotel's customer base.· Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and industry stakeholders.

· Participate in sales calls, networking events, exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional activities.

· Develop and execute sales promotions and packages to increase market share.

Sales Operations & Reporting

· Prepare monthly sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.

· Analyze sales data, market intelligence, and competitor activities to develop business strategies.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.

· Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

· MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.

· 5–10 years of experience in hotel sales, with strong exposure to Rooms Sales, Banquet Sales, and MICE business.
· Experience in luxury, upscale, or mid-scale hotel segments preferred.

· Strong knowledge of hospitality sales, revenue management, and market trends.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

· Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
