Job Title: Senior Manager - Delivery (10+ Year Experience)
Location: Jaipur
Position Type: Full-time (5 Day/Week)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Delivery with a strong background in the FMCG sector, particularly in food and beverages. This role is based in Jaipur and offers a competitive CTC.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, with a solid foundation in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management: Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including storage, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Freight Management: Manage and optimize secondary freight operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders including Sales, Health & Safety (H&S), Quality, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) teams to ensure seamless deliveryoperations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Logistics: Oversee transportation, warehousing, and commercial aspects of logistics. Utilize commercial acumen and negotiation skills to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- SAP Knowledge: Utilize SAP for logistics and supply chain management, ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Communication: Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective information flow.
Key Skills:
- Warehouse Management: Proven ability to manage large warehouses, including inventory and logistics.
- Freight Management: Experience in managing secondary freight, optimizing routes, and reducing
costs.
- Cost Optimization: Strong track record in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on performance and growth.
- Logistics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and logistics processes.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: An engineering degree is required, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering.
- FMCG Experience: Extensive experience in the FMCG sector, especially in food and beverages, is essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and other relevant logistics and supply chain management software.
