ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Tikva Housing Society (“THS” / “Tikva”) is a charitable non-profit housing society that provides access to innovative and affordable housing solutions, primarily for Jewish individuals and families. Tikva Rental Housing Society (“TRHS”) is a non-profit society established by THS to operate mixed-income housing developments. TRHS employs all staff working for both organizations and provides operational support to THS.
JOB PURPOSE
The Manager, Community & External Relations, is pivotal in overseeing and implementing strategies to enhance the organization's public image, build strategic partnerships within the community and with external stakeholders, support fundraising efforts, enhance donor relations, and boost income generation through various fundraising initiatives. The Manager, Community & External Relations reports to the Executive Director and supports the Community Relations Committee activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising & Development
Responsible for Operational Key Results (OKRs), as related to a strategic plan.
Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates Tikva's fundraising strategies and planning, including identifying and securing funding from government, corporate, foundation, and individual donor sources.
Leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
