Job Description
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Prepare balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports. Accountant duties and responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
May require a bachelor's degree in accounting or an area of specialty and two to four years of experience in the field or in a related area. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Perform a variety of tasks as mentioned below:
Month and end-year process, Accounts payable/receivable, Manage Cash receipts, Handle General ledger
Payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations,
Strongly follow-up on Debt activity, Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements, establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles and Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action.
Direct employees to ensure compliance and accuracy, to meet financial accounting objective and establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Finance Manager
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software - Tally and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
Experience- 5-8 years
Salary- 5-8 Lakhs
