About the role
As a result of strong organic growth and recent overseas acquisitions the company is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their rapidly growing Finance team. You will be responsible for the production of management accounts for various group companies, including PL variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reports, as well as assisting the Senior Management Accountant with group financial reporting.
• Preparation of management accounts for group companies to agreed timescales, including variance commentary
• Maintenance of various balance sheet reconciliations to agreed timescales (prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, capitalised IT development, intercompany reconciliations, etc.)
• Preparation of departmental PLs for support function heads, including holding quarterly review meetings
• Assist with the production of statutory accounts for group companies
• Assisting with the Group corporation tax and VAT returns
• Assist with internal, interim and year end audits
• Development and documentation of internal controls and processes
• Manage intercompany settlements between group companies
• Support in the preparation of annual financial budgets and forecasts
• Production of various ad hoc analyses for decision support

About you
We're looking for a nearly/newly qualified ACA Accountant (or equivalent qualification), or a qualified Management Accountant with experience in Insurance. Read more
