In addition to your competitive salary, you will receive a laptop and mobile phone for day-to-day use. Overtime opportunities do come up during outages, but your day to day work is steady and predictable. We also support carpooling within our squads making the daily commute easier and more social.
We have a strong focus on growth and progression - you'll have the opportunity to share your expertise and skills with others, and carry out routine maintenance to ensure our units consistently generate electricity to meet demand. Work alongside passionate colleagues and be provided with all the necessary tools and equipment to excel in your role. You'll receive regular on-the-job coaching, a personal develop plan tailored to your goals and opportunities to move within Mercury as opportunities arise. We're also ramping up our in-house training programs, with pathways to gain additional qualifications relevant to your role.
