Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description:
Provide end to end technical management and support for Oracle Engineered systems.
PCA, Exalogic, Exadata and OTD
Work with Oracle support and Field engineer for hardware replacement and troubleshooting including hard disks PDU InfiniBand switches Cisco switches Flash Disks CPU and DIMM for Oracle Engineered System
Work with Oracle support to upgrade the firmware on Engineered system components Experience on quarterly basis. Exadata Exalogic Oracle full stack
Patching Exadata Compute Storage Cells administration
Exalogic control stack and Server administration Implementation knowledge on IORM and Huge Pages on Exadata
Install Upgrade Patch Oracle Linux Linux Kernel OS administration LVM creation and management Linux scripting

Skills Bash Powershell or Python for task automation system monitoring general system health enhancements and improving the overall system security posture.
Knowledge on OCI and migration from on prem to OCI is added advantage
