Key Responsibilities
Export Logistics Management:
• Handle international shipments, including documentation (Bill of Lading, Export Declarations, Certificates of Origin, Other 3rd party certifications related to Food ingredients/Flavours ).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with export laws.
• Optimize shipping routes and costs for global customers.
Domestic Logistics Oversight:
• Manage transportation and distribution within India, ensuring timely delivery to customers and distributors.
• Negotiate contracts with transporters and logistics partners for cost efficiency.
• Monitor warehouse operations and inventory flow. Compliance & Quality Assurance:* Ensure adherence to food safety standards, FSSAI regulations, and international compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and certifications. Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs.
• Provide insights on logistics performance and recommend process improvements. Reporting & Analysis:* Prepare MIS reports on logistics costs, lead times, and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve service levels.
