Logistics and Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities
• Exemplify Customer 1st behavior; inspire other associates to provide outstanding customer service.
• Accept and process handbills from stores and buyers.
• Compile and maintain the shipping schedule for stores.
• Manage files in the Warehouse Inventory Network system related to aisle ranges and picking information.
• Respond promptly to concerns from buyers and stores, conducting necessary research and providing results.
• Process and analyze reports on inventory discrepancies from stores.
• Organize all merchandise effectively within the warehouse.
• Conduct thorough research regarding store order cuts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Resolve receiving issues and facilitate new store setups.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working any shift, including weekends as required.
• Oversee the distribution center's vendor non-compliance activities.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Perform essential job functions efficiently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
Minimum
• High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse distribution; a combination of relevant education and experience may be acceptable.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift truck certification/license and a valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to pursue additional education as needed.
• Proficiency in adhering to set time frames and fixed deadlines.
• Familiarity with retail distribution terminology and processes.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage diverse tasks/projects.
• Attention to detail and precision in your work.
• Capable of operating all warehouse equipment confidently.
Desired
• Experience in leading project teams and collaboration.
• Proficiency in a second language.
• Experience operating forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker, and lansing aisle ranger.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and MAGIC software.
