As a Financial Support Officer, you will join our Finance and Policy team to perform various tasks such as maintaining the Council's name and address database, managing the rates rebate process, and supporting the administration of the Council's property portfolio. This role requires someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of basic accounting concepts. Experience in local government processes or the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 is desirable. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems are essential.
