We are seeking a Full Time Line Cook to join our Kitchen Team. As a Line Cook, you will work in a fast-paced, quick-service culinary environment for our members and guests, creating exceptional experiences with every dish. Responsibilities:

Continuous collaboration and communication with Kitchen Team members to prepare culinary dishes
Excel in numerous culinary methods to prepare a variety menu items based on Glencoe standard recipes and requirements
Prepare Mise en Place for service including intricately cutting up vegetables, butchering meat, or crafting sauces while ensuring Food Safety practices
Maintain stock and prep stations with all necessary items for service
Proactive and timely cooking of high quality dishes to ensure food service comes out simultaneously
Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year culinary experience
A Journeyman Seal or working towards a Red Seal certification an asset
Have open availability morning, evening and weekend
Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instruction in English
Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs
Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

Additional Details:

This is a full time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate will required to work a variety of shifts including weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace certification prior to commencing employment.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The Club does not provide assistance with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
