Licensed Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry Typist

Citrus Pharmacy is a Long Term Care closed-door pharmacy that services Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities and is looking for an EXPERIENCED ORDER ENTRY Technicians. Must have experience entering patient information, typing prescriptions, and adjudicating insurance claims. Serious candidates only.

Available Shifts:

7am-3:30pm Tuesday-Saturday *8 HOUR SHIFTS*
4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday *8 HOUR SHIFTS**
4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday *8 HOUR SHIFTS*
Starting Pay: $21.00/hour (pay rate based on LTC experience, LTC experience is a plus) NIGHT PAY DIFFERENTIAL & WEEKEND PAY DIFFERENTIAL

Essential Functions:

· Data entry of prescription orders

· Answering phones and processing refills

· Knowledge of brand name/generic medications/sig codes

· Knowledge of 3rd party insurances such as Medicare Part D, Medi-Cal, IEHP

· Place outbound calls to facilities to clarify orders as needed

· Other duties essential to pharmacy operations, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in order entry (LTC pharmacy experience preferred)
Strong computer and typing skills
