Chosen Family is seeking passionate and experienced LGBTQIA+ Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team in NSW. This is a casual role, providing flexible work arrangements to support our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing:

Providing personalized care and support to LGBTQIA+ clients with a range of disabilities
Assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement
Advocating for the rights and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities
Collaborating with allied health professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans
Fostering a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for our clients
Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities
What we're looking for:

Demonstrated experience in providing disability support services, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and affirmation
Strong understanding of the unique challenges and barriers faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
Passion for advocating for the rights and wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities
Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related field
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Applicants must have:

Working with Children Check (WWCC)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid Certificate
Valid Drivers License
Reliable Vehicle
LGBTQIA+ awareness
